Afternoon Mail Room Clerk

mail-room-handThis task starts at 3:30 pm at the City Hall Mailroom where you will sort and stamp the outgoing mail using an automated stamp machine. After processing you will walk with a hand cart and deliver the mail to the D Street Post Office. Once the cart is returned, the task is complete! (If it is raining, a City staff person will drive to the Post Office.) You will work with the IT Department staff, who appreciates help with this daily task.

Time Commitment: 3:00 pm to 4:30 weekly on either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Volunteer one day per week or take on more than one day.

Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and able to walk with a hand cart from City Hall to the D Street Post Office.
